Component-Based Approach for Molecular Modelling Applications

چکیده
In this paper I describe a work in progress which combines concepts of components based authoring, physically based simulation and a new I/O device for molecular modelling applications. In my approach the user of a 3D interactive visualization of physically based simulations at molecular and atomic level is seen as an author of a 3D animation. According to the field of application a new I/O device, the Virtual Glove Box, is presented which combines haptic displays with stereoscopic visual displays.
